Thankful Hostess Gift
For Thanksgiving I always bring the hosting family member something. Even if you have that special co-worker you just want to say Thanks to here's a quick and cost efficient gift. This little box holds 4 tea lights.
Cardstock used was Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Pear Pizzaz, Very Vanilla. Designer Paper used was Autumn Spice, and the Stamp Set was Falling Leaves.Inks used Cajun Craze, Cho Chip, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie. Ribbon was Certain Celery and More Mustard. Scallop Circle punch, 1 1/4 Circle Punch, and 1" Circle Punch. Box base is 4.5x4.5 score 3/4 inch around box. I used tacky tape to hold together. Box wrap is 3 1/8 x 9. score at 2,2 3/4,5 7/8,6 5/8. Wrap around box and tape with tacky tape AFTER your candles are in the box to insure perfect fit. For tea lights cut a 3 x 6 piece of copy paper and place 4 sheets of tissue paper sandwiched(This helps to punch the tissue) Punch a 1/8 hole in the center then punch a 1/14 inch circle centering the smaller punch. Stamp on your tissue stand wick up on candle and thread onto tealight. using an embossing gun heat the surface until the wax melts, this goes fairly quick. Wait for them to cool put in box wrap with ribbon and add tag. Thanks for stopping

Embossed Christmas Collage
There's just something special when you emboss in Gold. Especially when you do it on Designer Paper, it gives a very Old feel. This picture doesn't even do it justice. Well here's what was used, Stamp Set: Christmas Collage, Designer Paper: Deck the Halls, Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Blender Pen, Inks, Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler, and Always Artichoke. Chantilly Trim, and a Vintage Brad. Gold Embossing Powder, with embossing buddy. I distressed using sponges and inks. All supplies can be purchased at http://brendasplace.stampinup.net. Tags, Tags, and More Tags week 4 of Christmas Cheer
This post is very late, I had a terrible flu. I'm so glad to be feeling better. So here's a cute bundle of tags. I made 4 different sets. All using Tags til Christmas and either Deck the halls designer paper or Candy Cane Christmas designer paper. Basic Cardstock was either Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze, Blushing Bride, or Cherry Cobbler. Each 8.5 x 11 gave me 10 tags. I cut each tag 4.25 x 2. Designer paper 1.50 x 2. Each tag a Ticket Punch was used on the top corners. 1/2 circles or Boho Blossom Flower was punched for the top of each tag, assorted punches to punch greetings were used. Use what you have available. All supplies can be purchased at http://brendasplace.stampinup.net/ Thanks for stopping!
