Goodie Bag, Yummy

Here's a quick way to wrap up all those yummy treats we give away at Christmas. I bought the meduim size Celebrate it bags from Michaels, and trimmed an 1 1/2 off the top. Cut my Real red 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 and a smaller size 4 1/2 x 1 3/4. I used the Holiday Designer paper Candy Cane Christmas I picked my favorites and cut the larger piece 5 1/4 x 4 1/4 and a contrasting piece 4 1/4 x 1 1/2. I taped each DP to the red cardstock. I cut a piece of white 4 1/2 x 1 and using my scallop trim punch punched the edge and tape it down to the back of the 4 1/2 x 1 3/4 red cardstock. Before taping everything down to the bag I cut 2 snowflakes using our bigz snowflake die #2 one in red and one in white. I taped both snowflakes together in the center and then taped the center of the snowflakes to the larger piece of cardstock. I laid the bag down to position so the bag would set without the flakes going past the bottom of the bag. I punched a hole with my 1/8 in hole punch through the flakes and cardstock then used a large rhinestone brad to add a little bling. I then taped the large piece down. Folded over the top of bag and using a bone gave it a firm crease. Then taped down the smaller group to the front of the bag. Keeping it folded over using the crop-a-dile a punched 2 holes to tie ribbin thru. I used organdy ribbon (we no longer carry) I would have used satin if I had it. I cut a piece of baja breeze 1 1/2 x 3 folded it in half and stamped my greeting from the stamp set Tags till Christmas. punched a hole and tied together. Note: I sometimes cut a piece of chipboard to line the bottom of the bag for support. It is in the Designer Pack of Paper. If you need any supplies you can find them at http://brendasplace.stampinup.net/. Thanks for stopping!
