I also used the winter frost paper. I love snow men Which is from the set Snow much fun which is retired. Hope you enjoyed it.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

I love this card inspired by Karen Burniston a litlle fishing line and using the magnetic plate and the labels collection framelits and chalk talk framelits create a great frame to fly this ghost. DSP was the Witches Brew. I used the owl punch to create the ghost.

Happy Haunting!

Guess What? She's Back!
My posting has been so eratic I am sorry so lets say this is the newest creation I have made from the new Holiday Catalog. So here's the recipe.
Base card Basic Black cut 4.25 x 11 embossed with the MODERN MOSAIC  folder.
Cut or use any scrap card stock and cut it to 3 x 4.25 You will be covering it with the paper so yeah use the scraps. Then cut your designer paper 2.5 x 3 and complimentary color card stock I used Basic Black, Starfruit, Pumpkin, Basic Gray, Very Vanilla, and Smokey Slate. Then lay them on the cutter and cut corner to corner. These create long triangles. When all that is done I embossed each solid color card stock with a different embossing folder. Now separate each style of paper in groups. I used the ANYWHERE GLUE STICK to adhere the papers to the 3 x 4.25 piece of card stock. Why? Because it is easier and dries faster. The straight side of the triangle will always be to the left. Just butt the papers up to each other with the tip being in the center. Once they are all glued down let them dry then trim around the square. I then cut strips .50 x 4.25 and using the MULTIPURPOSE LIQUID GLUE to add to the 3 x 4.25 piece of card stock. I also used the multipurpose glue to glue that whole piece to the card because it holds better than snail. Now to cover up the center point you could stamp anything and layer it onto a coordinating punch I used the DSP and the mini punch to center. Added a little Bling with BASIC JEWELS. To finish I stamped the Ticket on starfruit using HALLOWEEN BASH 130580 with STAZON. Then used the TICKET BUILDER PUNCH and popped it up with DIMENSIONALS. Glad you all liked it!
Happy Stamping Brenda

Spring Retreat February 2013

I loved spending time with my friends this year at our first Spring Retreat! I have held my first fall retreat (October 2012) and now my first Spring retreat ( Feb 2013). I started small with only 6 girls and now my Fall retreat coming this November is 12 strong! Of course I had to move to a bigger facility but I am so happy! I love teaching new products and projects, I told my husband I wish I could just teach at retreats exclusively. Wow a mini vacation every month but I do work hard. I plan all the projects because this isn't your normal retreat where you work on your own stuff. I plan every project for the whole time we are there. Here are a few pictures to share.

Its a Party on Sycamore Street!

This Card was so easy and fun I used our circle punches ranging from 1 3/4, 1 1/4, 1, 1/2 inch. I would also use the punches one size up to punch out the paper except for the 1 3/4. I cut paper 2 x 2 to glue behind that circle. So here's what you do.
Your base card is 4.25 x 11. Then cut a piece of white cardstock 4 x 5.25. You will punch your circles out first. Quick Note leave enough room to tie ribbons at the bottom. Then using quick dry glue glue them down with the design you want. I used the Sycamore street paper because with Sale-a-bration we all need lots of ideas. Then I ran it through the Big Shot using our Polka Dot embossing folder. Then tied to ribbons on the bottom again Sycamore Street Ribbon from SAB.
I used dimensionals to lift it on the base card then sprinkled it with our Rhinestone Jewels. The greeting was from Bloomin Marvelous again SAB and the 1.25 scallop circle punch. Oh yeah Island Indigo Ink.
I hope you Love it and thanks for stopping.

Bleeding Hearts

This card is Super Simple and can be done in a rainbow pattern or in Manly colors. It also gives your Big shot a work out. I choose my colors and cut the cardstock 5.50x4. I had each person pick the embossing folders they wanted to use and using the Big Shot emboss each color using a different folder. Then punch out 7-8 circles the size is 1.25 of each color. I over lapped each row Varying the circles which cant be seen really good here. Since Valentines is coming I choose to use With Love as my greeting. Tied it all up with a 1 inch satin bow. My base card was cut 4.25 x 11 in whisper white. Thanks for stopping!

Sycamore Street

I have fallen head over heels for this paper. I love the rich feeling of indigo and pool party. This shabby chic card is a winner to promote the Sycamore Street designer paper! Featured in our Sale-a-bration flyer!
Supplies used: White card stock for the base. Sycamore Street Paper Cut the large print 2.50 x 5.50. The deep middle eastern print 1.50 x 5.50. The flags are punched out using a 1 inch punch and folded in half, glued in half onto plain white Bakers Twine. One of the flags I used a print from the Summer Smooches paper.  I used a 1 x 5.50 strip of white and using the scallop trim boarder punch. The strip of pool party is from the 12 x 12 designer series stack and it is cut
1 x 5.50. I dazzled a bit with some rhinestones on the flags. The greeting is stamped in Indigo and punched out with our new mini scallop punch. It is popped up onto a Framelit from the Apothecary Accents. The greeting is from our Sale-a-bration set Bloomin Marvelous. Thanks for stopping!
