Cute Favor!

This is the easiest and cutest table favor I have made in the past. Especially when you have 20 to make(Our family valentines dinner).Try it you'll love it.
Supplies used
Designer Paper 6X6 Patterns Love
Stamp Sets:Filled with love 121154, XOXO 121973
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Real Red, Whisper White,
Glitter Red 121790
Punches: Scallop Circle 1 3/4 119854, Large Circle 1 3/8 119860, Circle 119861, Large Tag 119876, XL Tag 119866, Small Heart 117193
Ribbon: 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon 119251 Real Red
Extra's: medium cello bags 102757
So you have your designer paper in front of you in a diamond shape not a square. Fold the bottom corner to the top corner. Then fold the sides in jest like a diaper but angle your fold upwards. they will overlap. I used red tacky tape to hold them together. Then fold the top flap down. Add your scallop punches and layers. Fill your cello bags with about 12 kisses. Don't over fill or they won't fit. Stamp and punch out your tags, punch a little glitter heart. Tie with the ribbon, I added a little snail into the pocket before I slipped in the kisses. It just held it in place. If you need more detailed pictures just e-mail me at brenda44brenda@yahoo.com. Time Standing Still

Hi everyone,
Gosh we had a great meeting at my house last night. Jerri Lynn, Diane, and the whole down line. This is the kind of meeting I needed to get a business plan in order. I love stamping and I do it everyday, I love the friendships I have built and the friends I have, I just need to start moving from a hobbyist to the director. Everyone tells me I can do it. It just takes ONE phone call, ONE workshop, or ONE recruit to move forward. Well if anyone who was there last night is reading this I just wanted to say Thank You! So here's the one of the cards we made and it is my favorite. I love vintage!
You did a fabulous job Diane!
Supplies Used:
Card Stock: Sahara Sand, Elegant Eggplant
Inks: Basic Black, Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive
Stamp Sets: En Francais 109521, Elements of Style 118611, Sense of Time 113804
Blender Pens, Perfect Plum ribbon (retired), New Spinners 121893.
I only stamped the background with En Francais, floral area from Element of style in Black Ink and the Clock. I did a heavy distress on the edges in Elegant Eggplant then took my scissors on the edges to really give it a worn look. The only thing I used Old Olive ink for was to blend color into the leaves. The flowers got Eggplant and the blender pen. Love this Card!

Getting Punchy

HOW ABOUT THEM PACKERS!!! This card is so simple because it is mostly punched out.
After a long weekend of celebrating I need to get back to work. This was inspired by something I saw made by Jo in the United Kingdom, I just changed it to my design.
So Here's the supplies used.
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Crumbcake, Peach Parfait, Choclolate Chip, Old Olive, Real Red
Designer Paper: Rich Regals
Punches: Scallop Edge, Boho Blossom, Small Oval, Medium Oval, Tiny Tag, 2-step Large Bird, 1/8 hand held circle.
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Stamp Set: Tiny Tags
Gold Brad, Paper Piercing tool.
I cut the bird house from a 3.5 x 4.75 designer paper mark with pencil 2.5 from the bottom and 1 inch in. cut with your scissors. Measure up .50 from cut to the center of your paper to create the peak. I cut the Chocolate Chip 2.5 x 4 Scallop both edges on the 4 inch side. Using your paper cutter cut right down the center. Tape one side at a time and overlap roof pieces and trim. Punch your boho blossom out of Peach Parfait layer with glue, stamp tiny tag with hello using your paper piercing tool push a hole for the brad and punch a hole with 1/8 hole punch and put together. The rest you can refer to the picture, its pretty easy.

Hot Stuff

I bought these pails at Michaels. I used the small red heart circle from the “Filled with love” set stamped in white craft ink and used white embossing powder on real red. Using the 1 inch punch I punched it out. I Punched a 1 3/8 in whisper white taped them together for the lid. I added the ¼ real red grosgrain ribbon, and filled it with red hot’s. Stamped the Feb 14 in real red and punched it out using the 1 inch punch. I also punched a real red 1 3/8 circle add a punched glitter red small heart for dazzle. Using the computer in font size 12 Comic Sans typed “Your Hot.” I cut it out and added it to the circle. Done.

What a Night!

I had the best night last night, we had an amazing up-line meeting. I'm new to this group so I don't always know every one's name but I made sure I remembered Nicole Olsen. She created this card using the Circle Circus set and I just fell in love with the colors. The last meeting she created this really cool card with an owl drinking beer, I'm so sad I used it for some one's B-day. They won't give it back and I should have taken a picture. Anyways this card is the break from RED and PINK I needed. I just LOVE it!
 Thanks Nicole.
Oh and BTW I won the contest for the card swap with my card swaying hearts, thanks everyone who voted for me!

Valentine Card Holder

I changed the original design from Laura to suit my needs she had many many pockets I only needed one. Her's was also cased at Christmas so I held onto the idea and changed it.

Some reinforcement (Heavy tag board the 12x12 sheet in the patterns pack). A really a fun way to show off your Valentines Day Cards. Hi Friend

Good Morning everyone,
Here's a quick cutie, I used the paper from the new Bundle "Filled with Love". The designer paper is called Patterns Love.
Supplies used
Designer Paper: Patterns Love
Cardstock: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip
Markers: Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Ribbon: Pretty in Pink taffeta
Punch: Large Designer Label
Stamps: Eat Chocolate (The Hi I can't remember but I'm sure its retired)
Die Cuts: Top Note
Extras: Quick dry glue, 2 way glue pen, dimensionals, dazzeling diamonds.
Cut your base card in Whisper White and Fold it in half. Using your Die cut line the bottom of the card (with the fold at the top) Just slightly past the bottom tip of the Top Note Die. Keep the Die Vertical for length. Run it through. Now cut each design of designer paper 2 x 4 .When running each designer paper through the BIG SHOT lay the paper straight through the middle of the die cut. When you tape this in place you will have to trim the top. Tie ribbon across the front. Stamp your greeting in Chocolate Chip and punch it out using the Designer Label. Punch another Label in Chocolate Chip. Cut the Chocolate Chip Horizontally and tape it behind the greeting. Clean off your stamp and using the Markers color in the 3 chocolate's, stamp them and cut them out. I used quick dry glue to put these in place because they are so small. I used a 2 way glue pen to add a little dazzeling diamonds. Using dimensionals pop it in place. Finally I stamped Hi in the upper left corner. Done.Thanks for stopping this morning! Have a great day, Brenda

Sweet Thing!

Hello friends,
Here is a mini card 3 x 3 be sure to tuck this in with your friends favorite candy, because your the sweetest! It's nice to order the mini envelopes from stampin up or just make your own.
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Inks: Chocolate Chip
Markers: Real Red, Chocolate Chip
Stamp Set: Eat Chocolate 122006(clear set)
Punches: Large Designer Label, Scallop Edge
Extras: Paper piercing tool, Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamonds
Ribbon: 1/8 taffeta ribbon.
1. Cut your base card 3 x 6. Fold. I always stamp and then punch because I feel I can center things better that way, but you can punch 1 whisper white and 1 chocolate chip designer label.
2. I cut the chocolate chip punch in half horizontally. Tape it behind the whisper white. Then tape it to your card.
3. Now since the scallop edge is hard to work with if you have a small piece of paper I cut it 2 3/4 x 2 and scallop 1 edge. Then using your paper piercing tool pierce the center of each scallop.
4. When cutting your chocolate chip I suggest cutting a piece of paper 2 3/4 x maybe 3 so you can turn it to cut it down to 1 inch x 2 3/4. I just have better control of smaller cuts having paper to hold on to. My suggestions only if you can get a smaller cut using less paper do that. as long as it's final measurement is 2 3/4 x 1.
5. Tie your ribbon around the chocolate chip and tape down just above the scallop edge. I did need to trim the white straight edge even with the chocolate chip edge.
6. Stamp your candy piece again using your marker instead of the ink pad. Color in the hearts with the smaller end of your Real Red marker, cut it out and brush with crystal effects. You can either leave it shiny or sprinkle with dazzling diamonds carefully not to dump just sprinkle. Let dry for a few minutes and using a dimensional pop it over the one already on your label. *Just mentioning when you punched the greeting out you cut some of the candy off and this will be in place going over the top on the label punch. Hope you like this post. Thanks for stopping! Brenda

Post Holidays

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
Well I don't know about you but after New Years I am tuckered out. I really don't like the let down after all the hussel and bussel so I move forward. I start a mad rush to decorate for Valentines Day! I have a small tree in my classroom that I decorate for the upcoming holiday so this is the perfect venue for my new ornaments. I have seen Sheli make these before but I am using traditional Valentine colors (all the Real Red and Blushing Bride left over from Christmas) So I also plan on making a darling wreath for the front door with these so look for the pictures soon.
Supplies Used: Real Red cardstock and Blushing Bride.
Die cuts: Hearts Set 113448 (4 pk) Embosslits Scalloped Heart of Hearts 117332
Rub-Ons: 121886 Love Impressions
Ribbon: Real Red taffeta 3/8 119763
1. Cut 2 scalloped hearts in real red, and 2 hearts from the Heart set die cut in Blushing Bride
2. I cut 1 piece of real red 2 x 1 3/4. I scored it at 1/4, 3/4 , 1, 1 1/4, 1 3/4 turn and score at 1/2inch turn back and cut it on the 1 inch score mark to seperate. Looking at each piece cut the small 1/4x1/2 squares on each side. Tape the bottom flaps to connect and come to a point. Then you will tape the side flaps to each heart, to form your heart pocket ornament.
3. Put together with 1/8 red tacky tape to really hold.
4. Cut a strip of blushing bride 1 x 2 1/2 rub your greeting on (or stamp one) trim and add to the front with pop ups.
5. using your snail tape add the ribbon around the heart, tie at the top.
Your done!
