week 1 of 12 weeks of christmas cheer

Here is my card for this weeks post. I used Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, cardstock.
Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler, classic ink. Cherry Cobbler seam binding. Season of Friendship stamp set, and Bells and Boughs stamp set. Basic but elegant. I cut my Artichoke 8.5 x 4.25, Cherry Cobbler 5.25 x 4 and Vanilla 5 x 3.75. I punched a cirle using my 1 3/4 circle punch and using a pencil I lightly drew around it. That was my base line for the wreath. On both sides of the line I stamped using Always Artichoke and placed in lighter leaves by stamping on scrap paper then stamping on the card for a shadow effect. I used a set of berries from an old stamp set but around now you should be able to find them at Michaels. I used the Cherry Cobbler to put those in and to stamp the greeting. Using an 1/8 inch punch I added 2 holes at the top of the wreath to thread the binding through to tie a bow. Tape card together and there you have it. I hope you enjoyed this post.
Happy Stamping, Brenda.
