week 2 of 12 weeks of Christmas Cheer

Hi Everyone,

Well this post isn't early, last weeks was posted late(sorry). These vintage tags are so pretty they dress up a plain brown handled gift bag. The supplies are: Cardstock Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler(LOVE this color), and Vanilla. Stamp set used: Christmas Collage, Christmas Punch(retired). Ink used was Soft Suede I also used it to antique the edges with a sponge. Die cuts were Top Note and Snowflake#2.Linen thread, ribbons were seam binding in Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke and Very Vanilla. Embellishments were Large Rhinestone Brad and Jumbo Eyelets.Dimensionals are used to elevate the "to and from". Tools used were the Big Shot and Crop-a-dile. All supplies can be ordered on line at http://brendasplace.stampinup.net/ Now on to the directions. Cut all your die cuts and set aside. Ink your Collage Christmas with Soft Suede and stamp on your Cherry Cobbler, repeat on the Very Vanilla, tear across the top and bottom use the picture as your guide. Then sponge Soft Suede around the edges of the top note and the torn Vanilla. Tape down to tag. Place your snowflake tape in center to punch a hole through snowflake and tag put your rhinestone brad through. Using your crop-a-dile and place your jumbo eyelet through the top tie your ribbons through. Using your scrap cut the tag 2 1/4 x 1 and vanilla 2 x 3/4. punch a small hole and using the linen thread tie a small bow then using a dimensional pop it up and place it towards top of tag. Thanks for stopping!
