Week 3 of 12 weeks of christmas cheer

Hi everyone,

Happy Monday. So this is a little favor box that is as cute as can be for a co-worker, table favor, or to hold something sweet to give that special person. This is another great project featuring our BIG SHOT. I used the Designer paper Jolly Holiday, and the Fancy Favor bigzxl die to cut the box. I used the Designer paper Deck the Halls for the trim piece that goes around the box. I cut a 12 x 2 piece of designer paper and use the same die. lay it across the top edge about 1/8 of an inch above edge. That will put your decorative edge and all your score marks in the paper to make attaching it to the box easy! I used our Scallop Trim Border along the bottom of the 2 x 12 paper. Before you attach it to the bag I used Soft suede classic ink and a sponge to distress the edges. Fold your score marks and attach using Tombo tape. I used the seam binding from the Hoilday Mini catalog to tie around the box. To make the greeting, I used the stamp set Bells and Boughs. I stamped Merry Christmas in Cherry Cobbler ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock and punched it out using the Extra large decorative label punch. I punched one more time onto Always Artichoke and taped it behind the greeting after cutting it in half horizontally. Fill your cello bag with goodies and tie with seam binding. What a nice favor! All your supplies can be ordered directly from my page at http://brendasplace.stampinup.net/. Thanks for stopping!
